third album recorded in Catskill

This week, the basic tracks for the 3rd Combat Jazz album were recorded in Catskill NY at Brian Dewan's house. Paul Corio was the drummer, Brian played Hammond Organ, and I played tenor sax primarily. Most of the songs were modal based riffage based on modified Coltrane-esque lines (that doesn't sound so great...let's say, the songs were totally fresh Melodic inventions with crazily musical rhythm.)

recording album #3 in Catskills this week

I'm headed up to Brian Dewan's house in the Catskills to record the third Combat Jazz album. Paul Corio will be playing drums on this recording.

2nd Combat Jazz Album completed

The second Combat Jazz album, Atakmouth, is complete. I just paid the producer and I have the mastered CD. I'll be burning copies and shopping this CD starting in May 2010. If you are interested in a copy, please contact me.

FIREHOOD available

The first Combat Jazz album, Firehood, has been completed and I've received the CDs from Disc Makers. I've made a small batch to be used for promotional purposes such as shopping the disc for a license deal, booking gigs, and getting reviews. If you want a copy, please email me.
